Ben Harris Without even fully realizing it, I've been yearning for music like this. An abrasive armour of encompassing distortion and harshness that, try as it might, cannot hide the grieving beauty present in this album. Industrial metal (which is in of itself an inadequate description for these songs) has never sounded this compelling or moving. It reminds me somewhat of the uncompromising occult gabber bands that I used to listen to back in the days of mp3 dot com. Favorite track: Therapy.

Teeth Fall From The Open Eye sees the artist working through personal tragedy by way of his ruthless commitment to honing his craft as both musician and tattoo artist. On this record, Christ has challenged himself to take ownership of his deepest regrets, heaviest resentments, and darkest fears.

With his trusted Eye of Wisdom motif at the core of many of his archaic blackwork creations, Christ has created a universe where the Eye reigns supreme and mercilessly. The music he has created here is the ambient sound of such a world.
